Mr. Luebke tore his ulnar collateral ligament and had been debating whether to have surgery or pitch again this season after rest and rehabilitation. He decided on surgery and Dr. Yocum will perform the UCL repair on Mr. Luebke this weekend.
Mr. Luebke will spend the rest of the season recovering from the procedure.
