Baton Rouge (La.) General Medical Center opened Baton Rouge General Physicians – Orthopedics, expanding its surgical and orthopedic services.
The clinic, led by orthopedic surgeon Austin Broussard, MD, offers orthopedic services for adult and adolescent patients, according to an Aug. 31 news release. BRG Orthopedics treats pain and injuries involving the shoulders, knees, elbows and hips. Services include advanced imaging, minimally invasive and traditional procedures, and rehabilitation.
Dr. Broussard provides nonsurgical and surgical management of shoulder, knee, hip, elbow and sports-related injuries. He also specializes in arthroscopic and open procedures.
The clinic is on BRG’s Bluebonnet campus in the Center for Health.
