Texas Healthcare Fort Worth Bone & Joint Clinic changed its name to Orthopedic Institute of Fort Worth.
The Texas practice will continue providing orthopedic care in Fort Worth, Weatherford and nearby communities under the new name, according to an Aug. 24 news release.
Established in 1945, the practice provides orthopedic surgery, sports medicine, spine and joint care, imaging and physical therapy. It has also served as Fort Worth-based Texas Christian University’s team physicians and orthopedists for more than 50 years.
The name change is intended to more clearly identify the practice’s focus on orthopedic services.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
