Dr. Steven Shin to Perform Wrist Surgery on Angels’ Chris Iannetta

Steven Shin, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles, will perform wrist surgery on Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim catcher Chris Iannetta, according to a Chicago Tribune report.

Mr. Iannetta injured his wrist when he was hit by a pitch during a game against the Minnesota Twins earlier this month. Dr. Shin will perform surgery on the wrist, and Mr. Iannetta will likely spend six to eight weeks out of play.
