Los Angeles-based Luskin Orthopaedic Institute for Children broke ground on a $24 million project to expand pediatric orthopedic care and add an Advanced Imaging Center.
The center will feature a 3T Siemens MRI system and is expected to reduce MRI wait times from approximately two and a half months to just two and a half days. The investment will also expand specialty clinics and patient care space, according to a July 29 news release.
LuskinOIC provides more than 60,000 patient visits each year in partnership with UCLA Health. More than 80% of its patients are underinsured.
