Dr. Tim McAdams Performs Hand Surgery on Giants’ Pablo Sandoval

Tim McAdams, MD, performed hand surgery on San Francisco Giants third baseman Pablo Sandoval last week, according to an MLB report.

Mr. Sandoval began feeling discomfort in his hand last week and opted for surgery on Friday. Dr. McAdams performed a procedure to remove a fractured hamate bone from Mr. Sandoval’s left hand, according to the report.

Mr. Sandoval is expected to spend the next four to six weeks recovering from the procedure.
