Allentown, Pa.-based Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute, part of Jefferson Health, has opened Lehigh Valley Health Network-Dunmore, a new orthopedic center.
The facility provides services including general orthopedics, spine care, foot and ankle care, hand and wrist care, joint health and sports injuries, according to an Aug. 3 news release from Lehigh Valley Health Network.
The new center is part of the rebuilding process from a February fire at the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Dickson City campus.
“Opening LVHN–Dunmore is the first of many comebacks for the Scranton community. We are deeply grateful for your support and confidence in us during this time of rebuilding,” Thomas Graham, MD, physician in chief of Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute, said in the release. “With surgical and nonsurgical orthopedic experts in one location, you’ll receive the same world-class care you’ve trusted in this community for more than 30 years.”
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
