Biotronik Neuro debuts AI for spinal cord stimulation patients

Biotronik Neuro debuted Embrace One Proactive Intelligence, an AI capability that identifies spinal cord stimulation patients who may benefit from additional support using data collected through its Prospera system.

In a prospective pilot study presented at the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience Annual Meeting in Miami Beach, Fla., the AI model identified 188 behavioral-pattern instances across 175 patients. Patients responded to proactive outreach in 80.9% of cases, and nearly four out of five cases resulted in targeted support, according to a July 20 news release.

The AI analyzes more than 200 data points collected per patient each day through Biotronik Neuro’s remote monitoring platform. It does not make clinical decisions or adjust therapy, but helps the company’s Embrace One Care Team prioritize patient outreach.
