The program will choose 12 early- or growth-stage companies that are developing cutting-edge technology products in care coordination, patient engagement, analytics and message alerts for healthcare providers. Each company will receive up to $300,000 along with mentoring from senior-level executives at leading hospitals and providers in New York State. The companies will also receive access to the technology platform currently connecting electronic health records across New York State.
According to the report, the program is designed to cultivate a new generation of healthcare tools and technology necessary to develop robust EHRs and digital care coordination systems.
