Rush-Copley Sports Medicine Opens in Illinois

Rush-Copley Sports Medicine opened today in Aurora, Ill., according to a Sun Times report.

The practice, a Rush-Copley Medical Group practice, will provide services for concussions, overuse injuries, sprains, strains, osteoarthritis, stress fractures and joint injections. Deepak Patel, MD, a board-certified primary care sports medicine physician, will lead the practice.

Dr. Patel has experience providing care for Division I university athletes and semi-professional sports teams. He serves as director of sports medicine at Rush-Copley Family Medicine Residency.
