Platform helps orthopedic firms target high-volume surgeons

SmartTrak, a business and market insights company in the orthopedic medtech space, has launched SmartTarget, a physician-level sales targeting solution integrated into its market intelligence platform.

The offering combines all-payer procedure volume data with SmartTrak’s analyst-backed market intelligence, allowing commercial teams to identify physicians, evaluate market opportunities and target sales efforts from a single platform, according to a June 22 news release.

SmartTarget incorporates physician-level targeting capabilities from Alpha Sophia and covers more than 300 million patient lives across Medicare, Medicaid, government and commercial payer segments.

Users can search and filter data by physician name, national provider identifier number, specialty, geography and procedure codes. The platform also incorporates open payments data to provide information on physician-manufacturer payment relationships.
