Stephen Curry, who underwent surgery to repair a tendon in his ankle last summer, sprained his ankle again in March and hasn’t played since. He consulted with three surgeons before deciding on surgery performed by Dr. Ferkel, according to the report.

Andrew Bogut will undergo an exploratory arthroscopic ankle procedure to remove small loose articles and potentially scar tissue. As a result of the procedure, Mr. Bogut will withdraw from the 2012 Olympic Games, where he would have played for his native Australian team. He originally fractured his ankle during a game in January.
