Andrew Wade, CEO of Myrtle Beach-based OrthoSC, is stepping down from the role after eight years, he said in a June 1 LinkedIn post.

Mr. Wade oversaw 106 physicians and staff, 420 employees and two ASCs in his role, according to his LinkedIn profile. He joined the practice as COO in August 2018, became interim CEO less than a year later and officially took the post in January 2020.

He plans to transition out of the role in August.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to have served alongside an exceptional team of clinicians, leaders, and team members who care deeply about our community,” he said in his post. “Together, we have built one of the region’s leading independent musculoskeletal care organizations, and I’m incredibly proud of all that we have accomplished.”

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
