Five orthopedic practices with United Musculoskeletal Partners will unify and operate collectively as OrthoTexas starting in November, according to a June 3 news release.
Dallas-based All-Star Orthopaedics, Dallas based-AOA Orthopedic Specialists, Grapevine-based North Texas Orthopedics & Spine Center, Carrollton-based OrthoTexas and Flower Mound-based Orthopedic Associates are unifying to create an integrated orthopedic and spine organization with more than 70 physicians and 22 locations.
Unifying will allow the practices to have improved scheduling capabilities and a more integrated network of orthopedic and spine services across the region.
“As healthcare continues to evolve, scale and alignment are becoming increasingly
important,” Eric Wieser, MD, a member of the OrthoTexas Board, said in the release. “This move allows us to strengthen our presence across Dallas-Fort Worth while remaining focused on delivering exceptional outcomes, preserving physician leadership and decision making that impacts patient care across the organization.”
At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
