Spine surgeon Dan Peterson, MD, joined Ascension Seton Southwest Hospital in March, Community Impact reported June 1.
Dr. Peterson’s addition is part of the hospital’s larger work to add spine services. The hospital also added upgraded equipment and added an immediate care unit.
Dr. Peterson has been in practice for more than 30 years and focuses on degenerative diseases of the spine, as well as certain peripheral nerve disorders and spinal tumors. He earned his medical degree from Aurora-based University of Colorado School of Medicine, and he completed his residency at University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.
