Atlantic Health hospital names orthopedics chair

Morristown (N.J.) Medical Center has named Harpal Khanuja, MD, chair of orthopedic surgery, according to a May 23 LinkedIn post. 

Dr. Khanuja previously served as chief of adult reconstruction and hip and knee replacement surgery at the Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and chaired the orthopedic surgery department at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for 12 years. He also was a professor of orthopedic surgery at Johns Hopkins University. 

At Morristown Medical Center, part of Morristown-based Atlantic Health System, Dr. Khanuja will focus on expanding orthopedic programs, supporting surgeons and trainees and strengthening care across musculoskeletal specialties, according to the post.
