Carthage, Ill.-based Memorial Hospital is partnering with Quincy Medical Group to add spine services.
Philip Meinhardt, MD, will join the hospital, according to a May 11 news release from the hospital. He has more than 16 years of experience and specializes in areas including herniated discs, spinal stenosis, spinal compression fractures, deformities, spondylolisthesis, tumors, and adult degenerative conditions.
“Having Dr. Meinhardt join our surgical team is a tremendous asset to Memorial Hospital and the communities we serve,” Dina Schaller, director of surgery at Memorial Hospital, said in the release. “In the past, patients often had to travel significant distances to receive specialized spine surgery. Now, they can access high-quality, advanced spine care right here in Hancock County.”
He earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, and he completed his residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
