Danbury-based OrthoConnecticut and Fairfield, Conn.-based Orthopaedic Specialty Group have merged together to expand musculoskeletal care across Connecticut.
In addition, the two organizations have partnered with HOPCo, gaining access to advanced analytics, digital patient engagement, care management tools and a value-based care platform, according to a May 13 news release from HOPCo.
OrthoConnecticut has nine practices, and Orthopaedic Speciality Group supports eight locations.
The merger will provide the two organizations with expanded resources, enhanced coordination and additional musculoskeletal services.
Integration of OrthoConnecticut and Orthopaedic Specialty Group will occur through a coordinated process over the coming months.
