Great Falls (Mont.) Clinic has opened an orthopedic walk-in clinic, OrthoNOW, expanding access to same-day care for musculoskeletal injuries.
The clinic is designed to treat non-life-threatening orthopedic conditions, including sprains, strains and closed fractures, which account for over 20% of emergency department and primary care visits, according to an April 14 news release from Great Falls Clinic.
OrthoNOW provides immediate access to specialized orthopedic care without scheduled appointments, aiming to reduce wait times and avoid higher-cost emergency department visits for acute injuries. Services include diagnostic imaging, fracture care, casting and splinting and physical therapy referrals. The clinic will also treat sports- and work-related injuries, as well as torn ligaments and tendons, the release said.
At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
