Valdosta, Ga.-based SGMC Health is using IntelliJoint HIP technology during hip replacement procedures performed by orthopedic surgeon Anthony D’Abarno, DO.

The technology provides real-time data during surgery to help surgeons position hip implants more accurately and make adjustments based on a patient’s anatomy, according to an April 7 news release.

IntelliJoint HIP does not require additional preoperative imaging and can be used across a range of implants and surgical approaches. The system may be used in both primary and certain follow-up hip replacement procedures.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
