Stryker has contained its network disruption following a March 11 cyberattack, the company said March 23.

“We believe the incident is contained, and we are prioritizing restoration of systems that directly support customers, ordering and shipping,” Stryker said in an update. “Our internal teams, in partnership with third-party experts, reacted quickly to not only regain access but to remove the unauthorized party from our environment.”

There isn’t any indication of ransomware or malware, and the incident is believed to be contained, Stryker said at the time of the attack.

Stryker’s Mako robots were deemed safe to use in light of the cyberattack, the company said March 12. However supply chain issues delayed surgeries for some patients including a patient who needed a bone graft for hip surgery, Bloomberg reported.
