Christopher Klifto, MD, performed the first arthroplasty case using the Cori shoulder robot, Smith+Nephew said in a March 5 LinkedIn post.
The Cori shoulder system is a handheld device that supports robotic execution, including humeral cut and glenoid prep.
Dr. Klifto said in the post that early imaging of the initial case is aligning with pre-surgical planing and patient expectations.
