Three organizations named new orthopedic leaders in February, all choosing physicians to oversee clinical operations, specialty services and broader institutional leadership.

  1. Wudbhav Sankar, MD, was named chief of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Orthopedic Center, effective July 1. 
  1. Bradenton-based HCA Florida Blake Hospital named Andres O’Daly, MD, as medical director of orthopedics, effective Jan. 26. 

3. Little Rock-based The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences appointed orthopedic surgeon and joint replacement specialist Lowry Barnes, MD, as its next chancellor.
