Zimmer Biomet’s 2025 sales increase 7.2%

Zimmer Biomet’s fourth quarter and full year sales increased, according to financial results posted Feb. 10.

Seven things to know:

1. Full year sales reached $8.2 billion, a 7.2% increase year over year.

2. Knee sales in 2025 were $3.3 billion, and hip sales were $2.1 billion. Both saw 4.7% year over year increases.

3. Sports Medicine, extremities, trauma, craniomaxillofacial and thoracic sales in 2025 was $2.15 billion, a 15.2% increase year over year.

4. Fourth quarter sales grew 10.9% year over year with $2.2 billion.

5. Net earnings for the fourth quarter were $139.3 million and $705.1 million for the full year.

6. The company’s 2026 guidance expects a 2.5% to 4.5% increase in full-year revenue.

7. “We closed the year strong with meaningful revenue acceleration and two consecutive quarters of mid-single digit organic growth fueled by our new product innovation cycle,” CEO Ivan Tornos, said in a news release. “As we enter 2026, we are excited about our transition to a predominantly direct and specialized sales organization in the U.S. While this bold action tempers our 2026 sales guidance, we are confident that it will drive durable long-term growth and solidify our position as the undisputed market leader.”
