“The CMC now provides a focal point for our expertise in musculoskeletal care and will deepen the collaboration between clinicians and researchers to bring personalized treatment and care for the bones, joints and muscles,” Robert Grossman, MD, dean and CEO of NYU Langone Medical Center said.

A host of outpatient services are now under one roof at NYU: adult reconstructive and joint replacement surgery, arthritis and sports medicine, physical and occupational therapies and other musculoskeletal healthcare services.

In addition, the 100,000 square-foot facility in Manhattan boasts an anti-gravity treadmill, an all-in-one wireless biofeedback training system to analyze joints and motion analysis technology to study patient’s biomechanics.
