Cardiff Lexington’s board chair to retire

Daniel Thompson, chair of the board of directors at Cardiff Lexington (Ky.), is retiring effective Dec. 31, according to a Dec. 29 news release.

Cardiff Lexington CEO Alex Cunningham will succeed Mr. Thompson as chair. As chair, Mr. Thompson has helped build the company through strategic transformations, acquisitions and periods of growth in spine, orthopedics and pain management. Now the company is poised for expansion of its subsidiary, Nova Ortho and Spine and is targeting uplisting of its stock to a major U.S. exchange.

“After 25 years, the time has come for me to step back, but I do so with immense pride in what we have built together and deep gratitude to our employees, partners, and shareholders who made it possible,” Mr. Thompson said in the release. “I leave knowing the Company is in extraordinary hands and have complete confidence in our President and CEO Alex Cunningham and in the team at Cardiff Lexington.”
