Dr. Judith Baumhauer Receives Greater Rochester 2012 Athena Award

Judith F. Baumhauer, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at the University of Rochester (N.Y.) Medical Center, recently received the Greater Rochester 2012 Athena Award, according to an AAOS Now report.

Dr. Baumhauer has a professional interest in foot and ankle surgery. She has been the president of the Eastern Orthopaedic Association and received recognition from the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.

Dr. Baumhauer earned her medical degree at the University of Vermont College of Medicine and completed her residency in orthopedic surgery at Medical Center Hospital of Vermont. Her additional training includes a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Medical College of Wisconsin in Madison.
