Medical City Weatherford adds spine surgery program

Medical City Weatherford (Texas) added a spine surgery program for the first time in more than a decade, according to a Dec. 12 news release.

The hospital’s new program includes posterior lumbar laminectomy and discectomy and anterior cervical discectomy and fusion.

“This expansion reflects our commitment to the care and improvement of human life,” Allen Marsh, CEO of Medical City Weatherford, said in the release. “By adding spine surgery, we are meeting the growing needs of Parker County and the surrounding communities by ensuring patients have access to advanced treatment options close to home.”
