St. Petersburg-based All Florida Orthopedic is now operating as Florida Orthopaedic Institute, according to a news release shared Dec. 11 with Becker’s.

The new campus has 40% more clinic capacity, a physical therapy and rehab center and an expanded imaging suite. It also features the region’s first orthopedic-focused urgent care center.

“As we transition to Florida Orthopaedic Institute, St. Petersburg, this new facility
reflects our continued investment in elevating orthopedic care for this community,” Paul Pagano, MD, managing partner of FOI St. Petersburg, said in the release. ““We’ve cared for St. Petersburg patients for over 40 years, and this expansion – including the city’s first orthopedic urgent care, increased clinic and rehab capacity, and state-of-the-art imaging ensures we can continue delivering exceptional care for decades to come.”

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
