Orthopedic surgeon named chief of staff at Shriners Erie

Shriners Children’s Erie (Pa.) has appointed pediatric orthopedic surgeon Joshua Pahys, MD, as chief of staff. 

Dr. Pahys specializes in complex spinal surgery and has been part of the Shriners system for more than a decade. He joined the spine team at Shriners Children’s Philadelphia in 2010 and began practicing in Erie in 2015, according to a Dec. 9 system Facebook announcement.

As chief of staff, Dr. Pahys will continue seeing patients while leading clinical strategy and supporting the hospital’s orthopedic mission.
