Clay Center, Kan.-based Clay County Medical Center will expand orthopedic services through a new partnership with Manhattan, Kan.-based Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center.
Beginning in November, the orthopedic team will see patients at Clay Center Family Physicians. The hospital’s first total joint replacement surgery is scheduled for December, according to an Oct.13 Facebook post by the system.
The expanded service will expand access to hip, knee and shoulder care — including joint replacements — for patients in Clay County and surrounding communities.
The partnership builds on years of collaboration between the physicians and the hospital, according to the post.
