Dr. Cher was named vice president of clinical affairs and Dr. Reckling was named vice president of medical affairs. Both have extensive experience in spine, orthopedics, startup medical device technology and clinical-medical affairs.
Dr. Cher is a board-certified internist with over 15 years of clinical affairs and research experience. He received his medical degree from the Yale Medical School in New Haven, Conn. Dr. Cher completed a residency in internal medicine at University of Wisconsin, Madison and California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. He underwent additional training in general internal medicine and research methods at Stanford University and the Palo Alto (Calif.) VA Hospital.
Dr. Reckling is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon with over 17 years of spine surgery and clinical research experience. He graduated from Creighton University in Omaha and Northwestern University in Chicago. Dr. Reckling completed a fellowship in spine surgery at Queen’s University Medical Centre in Nottingham, England, and a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Minnesota Hospitals and Clinics in Minneapolis.
