Hannibal (Mo.) Regional has added Branislav Behan, MD, an orthopedic surgeon, to its team of specialists.
Dr. Behan brings more than 25 years of experience in orthopedic surgery, with expertise in sports medicine, joint replacement and complex trauma. He previously practiced in Michigan, according to a Sept. 24 Muddy River News report.
Originally from Czechoslovakia, Dr. Behan integrates preventive and lifestyle approaches into his practice, with a focus on how chronic conditions such as obesity, diabetes and heart disease affect orthopedic health. He emphasizes individualized care, listening to patients and tailoring treatment plans to restore mobility and improve quality of life.
