United Regional adds orthopedic surgeon

Wichita Falls, Texas-based United Regional Physician Group has added Jordan Teel, MD, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and hip preservation.

Dr. Teel is trained in hip arthroscopy, a minimally invasive technique that treats hip joint injuries and may delay or prevent hip replacement, according to a Sept. 4 Facebook post by the system. 

She completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and a sports medicine fellowship at the Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colo.
