Lenoss Medical’s spine biologic snags 3 more patents

Lenoss Medical’s OsteoPearl biologic allograft for spine earned two new U.S. patents and one European patent, according to a Sept. 4 news release shared with Becker’s.

In the past three years, OsteoPearl earned six patents, and now the biologic has 23 total granted patents. The allograft is designed to augment osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures by providing a natural scaffold for repair.

“This protection not only validates the uniqueness of our OsteoPearl technology but also strengthens our ability to bring a truly natural, patient-centered solution to market,” Dom Messerli, CEO and founder of Lenoss Medical, said in the release.
