Louisville, Ky.-based Baptist Health Medical Group Orthopedics & Sports Medicine has added Stephen Compton, MD, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and joint replacement, who will see patients in Paducah and Murray, Ky., according to a Sept. 2 report by The Southern Illinoisan.
Dr. Compton treats musculoskeletal conditions including joint dysfunction, degenerative and congenital diseases and traumatic injuries. His surgical expertise includes carpal tunnel procedures and total knee and hip replacements.
He completed his residency at the Iowa City-based University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine.
