Spine company Highridge Medical has acquired three spine systems from Accelus.
Highridge Medical added the FlareHawk and Toro expandable interbody fusion systems as well as the LineSider pedicle screw system to expand its spine surgery capabilities, according to a Sept. 2 news release from Highridge.
The FlareHawk system includes a minimal insertion profile and controlled in-situ, multiplanar expansion. The Toro system enhances multidirectional expandable cage technology and novel instrumentation. The LineSider system leads to increased procedural visibility, versatility and efficiency.
The acquisition will integrate Accelus’s implant designs into the Highridge portfolio in both the ambulatory surgery center and hospital settings.
