The new appointment is part of Mayo Clinic Health System’s efforts to consolidate management positions. Dr. Ciota has held leadership positions that helped direct the policies of the medical center in Alberta Lea.
Dr. Ciota earned his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He has a professional interest in joint replacement and sports medicine.
