Valdosta, Ga.-based SGMC Health has added Anthony D’Abarno, DO, and Rehan Dawood, DO, to its orthopedics team, according to an Aug. 19 news release.
Dr. D’Abarno specializes in total joint replacements, trauma care and general orthopedics. He treats conditions such as fractures, dislocations and advanced arthritis requiring hip or knee replacement.
Dr. Dawood is fellowship-trained in sports medicine and provides both nonoperative care and minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery for injuries involving the shoulder, knee and other joints. His subspecialty expertise includes ACL reconstructions and shoulder stabilizations.
The addition of Drs. D’Abarno and Dr. Dawood will expand specialized orthopedic care access across South Georgia and North Florida, according to the release.
