Novant Health has added Performance Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine in Cary, N.C., to its network.
The practice was founded in 2009 by Milan DiGiulio, MD, and provides adult and pediatric orthopedic and sports medicine services, according to an Aug. 6 news release from Novant Health.
Dr. DiGiulio is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee to repair tears in the labrum, rotator cuff, meniscus and anterior cruciate ligament.
Performance Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine became part of Novant Health July 28. Since opening in 2009, the practice has provided care to more than 19,000 patients.
Novant Health supports a network of nearly 900 locations, including hospitals, physician clinics, urgent care centers and outpatient facilities, the release said.
