Zimmer Biomet’s revenue in the second quarter of 2025 increased with a 7% increase year over year, according to financial results posted Aug. 7.
Five things to know:
1. Quarterly sales reached $2.07 billion, and Zimmer Biomet’s net earnings were $152.8 million.
2. Knee sales increased 3.1% with $826 million, and hip sales were up 5.8% with $536.1 million.
3. Sports medicine, extremities, trauma, craniomaxillofacial and thoracic sales rose 17.3% year over year to $550.6 million.
4. U.S. sales increased 6.1% year over year with $1.8 billion. International sales were just under $1 billion.
5. Zimmer Biomet projects its full-year revenue to increase 6.7% to 7.7% compared to 2024.
