AAOS Elects Dr. Matthew Dobbs to Board of Directors

American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons recently announced the election of Matthew Dobbs, MD, to its Board of Directors.

Dr. Dobbs is an associate professor of orthopedic surgery at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and deputy editor for Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research. He also serves as head team physician for World Team Tennis in St. Louis.

Currently, Dr. Dobbs serves on the boards for the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America and Missouri State Orthopaedic Association. During his career, he has traveled to Asia, South America and Central America to treat children in need of orthopedic care.
