Alphatec’s Q2 revenue grows 27.5%

Alphatec’s second quarter total revenue reached $186 million, an increase of 27.5% year over year, according to financial results posted July 31.

Four things to know:

1. Surgical revenue in the second quarter was $168 million, a 29% increase year over year.

2. Alphatec reached 21% year over year growth in new surgeon adoption during the second quarter.

3. The company generated $5 million of free cash flow.

4. The company raised its full-year guidance and expects 21% full year revenue growth with $742 million.
