University Orthopedics taps orthopedic surgeon

Nicholas Lemme, MD, will join the sports medicine team at Providence, R.I.-based University Orthopedics, according to a July 22 news release shared with Becker’s.

Returning to his native Rhode Island from a sports medicine fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Dr. Lemme will treat adult and older pediatric patients at University Orthopedics locations in East Providence, East Greenwich and Providence. He will also perform surgical procedures at Rhode Island Hospital, The Miriam Hospital and the East Bay Surgery Center at University Orthopedics’ Kettle Point location. 

Dr. Lemme is trained in both orthopedic sports medicine and orthopedic trauma. He earned his medical degree and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
