The Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute has expanded its staff with 26 orthopedic and sports medicine physicians in Florida.
After Orlando Health’s recent acquisition of Steward Health Care’s east Central Florida orthopedic practice locations, six physicians joined the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute, according to a July 14 news release from Orlando Health.
On Florida’s west coast, 20 physicians with Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health are joining the orthopedic institute’s staff. In addition, five existing orthopedic clinic locations will be rebranded to Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute in the upcoming months.
Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute Downtown Complex provides orthopedic services to more than 320,000 patients each year. The institute has 94 physicians on its staff and operates 24 clinics across Florida, the release said.
