Courtney Vandersloot, guard for the Chicago Sky, has undergone surgery for a torn right anterior cruciate ligament, according to a June 24 report from Athlon Sports.
Brian Cole, MD, a sports medicine specialist and orthopedic surgeon at Rush, performed the surgery at Chicago-based Midwest Orthopedics at Rush.
Ms. Vandersloot, who joined the Sky in the 2025 season after playing two seasons with the New York Liberty, will be out for the rest of the 2025 season, according to the team’s social media.
