St. Francis Hospital Connecticut institute surpasses 50,000 procedures

Hartford-based St. Francis Hospital’s Connecticut Joint Replacement Institute has completed 50,000 procedures.

The institute first opened in 2007 and is one of the largest centers in Connecticut offering total and partial joint replacement for hips, knees and shoulders, according to a May 13 press release sent to Becker’s

The 50,000th procedure was performed by Matthew Grosso, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at CJRI.
