Stryker’s orthopedic sales up 9.7% in Q1

Stryker saw year-over-year revenue growth in the first quarter of 2025, according to financial results posted May 2.

Six things to know:

1. Quarterly revenue reached $5.9 billion, an 11.9% increase year over year.

2. Orthopedic sales grew 9.7% year over year  to $2.3 billion, and med-surg and neurotechnology sales grew 13.4% to $3.5 billion. 

3. Hip sales increased 12.7% year over year to $443 million, and knees grew 8.7% to $639 million. 

4. Spine implant sales dipped 2.9% to $166 million.

5. Stryker operated with net earnings of $654 million. That’s a decrease of 17% year over year.

6. Stryker expects its full year 2025 revenue to grow 8.5% to 9.5% year over year.
