Spinal device company Alphatec has commercially launched its Prone TransPsoas corpectomy system.
The launch marks the expansion of Alphatec’s deformity and corpectomy procedure capabilities for complex pathologies of the thoracolumbar spine, according to an April 21 news release.
The system is designed to optimize lateral corpectomy exposure of the thoracolumbar spine, and is engineered for stability and fusion potential in complex spinal procedures. The SafeOp 3 system, which is also included, delivers objective and actionable information with minimally disruptive motor-evoked potentials.
The new systems will integrate with Alphatec’s other PTP offerings, according to the release.
