Curiteva’s Inspire 3D-printed cervical spine implant has been used in more than 5,000 levels, the devicemaker said April 15.
The milestone comes two years after the debut of the implant in 2023, according to a news release. Curiteva’s Inspire is a 3D-printed PEEK device that is internally developed and promotes through-growth.
“With this implant, I often require little to no bracing and have significantly greater confidence in both fusion rates and patient satisfaction during multilevel ACDF procedures,” spine surgeon John Johnson, MD, said in the release.
Curiteva is also planning commercial launches of its Inspire TLIF and Inspire TLIF Oblique in April.
